CRITERIA OF ASSESSMENT

OF ABITURIENTS’ KNOWLEDGES ON BIOLOGY

          The subject examination commission evaluates the written answers of the apprentice to the practical test of biology on a 200-point scale from 100 to 200 points, which includes grades “excellent”, “good”, “satisfactory”, “unsatisfactory”.

Testing includes 20 test questions in biology with the choice of one correct answer, which is scored by 10 points. For each test task with a choice of answer given 5 answer variants, of which only one is correct.

Only one letter indicating the answer should be entered in the response form. In this case, the entrant should not give any reasoning that explains his choice of answer.

If there is a correction from the wrong to the correct answers, 5 points are removed.

Entrants who scored less than 100 points receive an “unsatisfactory” rating and no further competition is allowed.

       The maximum number of points for a completely correct tasks – 200 points. Entrants who scored 100 or more points are admitted to the next competition.
